At Baited, our mission is to improve cybersecurity resilience through highly realistic phishing simulations and security awareness training. To accurately reflect the evolving tactics used by malicious actors, some of our training content may include the names, logos, branding, or service marks of recognizable third-party companies. These elements are included to replicate real-world phishing strategies and help organizations prepare for the types of social engineering threats they are most likely to encounter.
The inclusion of third-party trademarks, logos, or branding in our phishing simulations is solely for educational, research, and internal security testing purposes. This use is consistent with the principle of fair use as recognized in applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright and trademark law. The primary purpose is to enhance the realism and effectiveness of cybersecurity training, not to mislead, defame, or confuse end users, nor to imply endorsement or association with the brand owners.
Phishing simulations that mimic real-world tactics are vital in training employees to recognize and appropriately respond to phishing attacks. Since attackers commonly impersonate trusted brands and services to increase the credibility of their attacks, our platform mirrors these tactics to help clients proactively test and strengthen their human defenses against such deception. Simulating these attack vectors without reference to real-world branding would diminish their authenticity and significantly reduce the educational impact of the training.
All third-party names, logos, trademarks, and other brand elements used within the Baited platform remain the property of their respective owners. We do not assert ownership over these marks, nor do we claim any form of affiliation, sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement by the companies they represent. Any references to third-party companies or their trademarks are included purely to replicate attacker tactics for training and testing purposes within a controlled and ethical environment.
Our platform strictly limits the use of third-party intellectual property to non-commercial, educational use cases within the context of organizational security awareness and testing. We do not offer or sell simulations containing third-party marks as standalone content, nor do we misuse or exploit these brand elements in ways that could damage their reputation or mislead the public.
All simulations are conducted within authorized testing environments and intended exclusively for customers who have engaged Baited to assess and improve their security posture. These exercises are not visible to the general public, are not distributed externally, and are only accessible within the organization undergoing training or assessment.
Baited respects the intellectual property rights of all third-party entities. If you are a trademark or copyright holder and believe that your intellectual property has been used in a manner that is not in line with fair use principles or is otherwise objectionable, we encourage you to contact us. We are committed to responding promptly and cooperatively to resolve any such concerns. Upon receiving a valid complaint, we will review the reported content and, if necessary, make any appropriate modifications or removals.
